What Is A Certified Veterinary Technician?

A Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), as defined by the American Veterinary Medical Association, is a "graduate of an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), accredited school in Veterinary Technology" and is licensed by the State in which he/she practices, in our case, Wisconsin.  Veterinary Technicians function as technical support to the Veterinarians.
